The Guild of Alchemy is perhaps not the most popular, but undisputedly the most difficult guild within Ballos to enter. The Guild of Alchemy provides all the essential training and equipment any aspiring alchemist could want. However, even a seasoned alchemist may become overwhelmed at the very tasks required for one to perform to prove themselves worthy of membership. In an effort to be less constrictive, recent years have shown the heads of this guild have attempted to provide more personal tutorship for their members. Training in all forms of alchemical tools are provided, from the retort to the sand bath, and it is rare one can make it out with their ego intact from this guild without bringing with that ego a vast amount of knowledge to now support it.

Abilities[]

Advanced Alchemy (Passive)[]

Learning to make brews and potions is a part of a wizard's education. However, the creation of more powerful and advanced concotions is kin to an art. The most lethal poisons, transforming brews, and enchanted potions can only be made by true brew masters. These individuals not only have superior brew skills, but they also understand that not-quite-exact science of alchemy. The Advanced Alchemy ability enhances wizards' already formidable mastery in brewing (+3 Alchemical Tools, +1 Brew), but only if their Chemistry Skill is > 3, and they have an Alchemist's Burner in their possession.

Study at Ballos' Guild of Alchemy Hall (Active)[]

Once you've demonstrated a basic degree of familiarity with Alchemical Tools (skill level >= 3), you're welcome to study at the hall of Ballos' Guild of Alchemy. A few hours here will allow you to Expand your knowledge of Chemistry, and of one Brew subskill of your choosing, by 1 Step each (or Chemistry alone by 2 Steps, if that's what gets your cauldron bubbling).
